LionRoar (Concept Car)
Year of Concept: 2007
Designers: Leonid Naku & Valery Chernolev
The idea for the "LionRoar" design originated in 2007, crafted by me, Leonid Naku, and my colleague Valery Chernolev. We aimed to participate in a competition for the best automotive design for a well-known car manufacturer. Unfortunately, our work was not completed due to our limited skills in 3D modeling and rendering, and the design remained in my archives for many years.
After 12 years, I decided to revisit and refine this concept, incorporating modern shapes and aesthetics. The result is a vehicle that embodies the powerful spirit of a lion, reflected in its dynamic lines and aggressive stance.
LionRoar - the name itself captures the essence of a lion’s roar, perfectly aligning with the vision we had for this design. This work not only represents a personal journey of growth and development in design skills but also showcases the timeless inspiration drawn from nature.
The project was created using Autodesk 3ds Max, rendering was completed in V-Ray, with post-production done in Adobe Photoshop, which allowed for photorealistic quality with precise lighting and material detailing.
